The 2026 FIFA World Cup™ will kick off at the iconic Estadio Azteca in Mexico City on Thursday, June 11, 2026. The final will be held on Sunday, July 19, in New York/New Jersey.
The Toronto Stadium (Canada), the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City (Mexico), and the Los Angeles Stadium (USA) will host the opening matches for their respective national teams in this edition of the tournament. Canada, Mexico, and the United States are guaranteed to play their three group stage matches in front of their home crowd. Guadalajara, Vancouver, and Seattle have also been selected to host matches for the host countries during this stage.
Miami will host the third-place play-off, while Dallas and Atlanta will be the venues for the highly anticipated semi-finals. In total, Dallas will host nine matches, more than any other host city.
The innovative schedule design ensures that teams enjoy three days of rest before 103 of the 104 tournament matches. Most matches will be concentrated in the eastern, central, and western regions to minimize travel for both teams and fans.
